Jus Natural Hair Show - How to style locks and natural hair

Perfectly primmed, primped and rolled locks styled by the team at tne newly relocated Jus Natural Hair Studio took centrestage at the 'au naturelle' hair show and opening party for the salon, held on Friday February 29, 2008, at their new home in the Pulse Complex on Trafalgar Road in New Kingston.
They say February 29 either brings you very good or VERY bad luck, and for the Jus Natural team, it would seem to be the latter as the electricity went that night, sinking the Verandah into darkness. But being the 'artical' chicks they are (look that up in a Jamaican dictionary if you're lost), Trudy and Princess took the show inside and proceeded to display their team's works of hair art by candlelight.
It was challenging to actually see the coifs by just flickering candlelight, but the colourful descriptions given by the MC's, Trudy and Princess of course, painted quite a vivid picture of appearance of the do's.
As expected, the styles on display totally obliterated the misconception that locks and natural hairstyles are not versatile, and can only be worn in mundane ways. Wavy locks, straight locks, locks in an up-do, locks in twists, locks in red-gold-and-green, and other styles that you probably would have never thought of were modeled by Jus Natural clients, who included a few local 'cebrelities', such as LA Lewis.
It was almost like a cruel joke, when the electricty returned at the END of the proceedings. But no one cared really. The show turned out as it should have - Jus Natural!
