Comedy Buss is the brain child of Si-Wi-Yah
Entertainment, a production company and booking agency owned and
operated by Christopher "Johnny' Daley (actor, producer,
comedian) and Coleen B. Lewis , attorney-at-law and actress.
The aim of the Comedy Buss is to unearth,train and
expose new talent in the entertainment genre of stand up comedy.
This is its second season on air.
The title sponsor is TVJ,
Associate title sponsor is MiPhone, other sponsors in order of rank
are; Burger King , Red Stripe Light (the official comedy club
drink), Si-Wi-Yah Entertainment, Cash Pot, The Star, Fame FM. (and a
host of other smaller sponsors)

Gayelle TV is the official sponsor and link into the
eastern Caribbean broadcasting out of Trinidad and Grenada. The show
has two official judges actress Audrey Reid of Dance Hall Queen fame
and writer, actor, comedian, pastor, radio personality Winston
'Bello' Bell. They are joined each week by a celebrity guest
judge with some connection and relevance to the field. The show is
hosted by actor, producer, comedian 'Christopher ' Johnny'
Daley and co hosted by Actor - Everaldo Creary. There is a guest dj in
the house every week courtesy of Fame FM.
Jamaica is asked to vote every week from any network (except
Flow) for their favourite with the contestants with the lowest vote
being left off the buss each week.
There are
currently 8 contestants left on the Buss. The official stylist for the
show is Georgette Smith, who does duty with the judges and
hosts. The hosts wore Romeich Wear and Rebel Unit when
Popstyle cameras visited the set, and the contestants featured the
clothes and styling of Drenz Fashion and Rebel Unit - all
young fashion houses on the rise. Set decor is done by Blackwell
Designs.
